Privacy Policy

1. ABOUT THIS PRIVACY POLICY

This policy describes how the Android application Ramalho's Cleaning Services processes information in its current version. The app provides cleaning-service reference information and allows people to prepare, save, edit and delete cleaning-request details on their own device. It does not provide an online account or send cleaning requests to the company.

2. INFORMATION ENTERED BY USERS

To create a completed cleaning-request record, the app asks for:

• Full name — required; identifies the request record.
• Phone number — required; provides contact details within the request.
• Cleaning/service address — required; describes the location of the requested cleaning.
• Selected cleaning-service category — required to organize the request.
• Property type — selected by the user for planning purposes.
• Number of bedrooms/rooms and bathrooms — chosen for cleaning-plan details.

The following fields are optional:

• Email address — for the request record if the user wants to include it.
• Preferred cleaning date — indicates timing preference, not a confirmed appointment.
• Extra cleaning priorities — selected tasks, such as cabinet or interior window cleaning.
• Free-text instructions or notes — other details voluntarily entered by the user.

The application also retains selected favourite-service IDs, one unfinished cleaning-plan draft, and completed cleaning-request records. It records internal request IDs, creation timestamps and local status so that the information can be organized, shown, edited and deleted. Users should not enter passwords, government ID documents, bank card details or other sensitive information in notes.

3. HOW INFORMATION IS USED

The fields listed above are used to populate the cleaning-plan form, display a request summary, save request drafts, show previously completed request records, allow changes and deletion, and remember favourite service selections. The information is not used for advertising, behavioural profiling or automated decision-making.

4. WHERE DATA IS STORED AND WHETHER IT IS SENT

Cleaning-request fields, saved drafts, favourites and local request metadata are stored on the user's device in application-private Android SharedPreferences. In the version reviewed for this policy, the app does not implement a backend service and does not send these request records to RAMALHO'S CLEANING SERVICES INC, a third-party booking service, or a cloud database. A completed in-app request record is NOT a confirmed service appointment or evidence that the business has received a booking.

These application SharedPreferences are configured to be excluded from Android cloud backup and device-transfer backup. Android OS and device security protections still apply.

5. NETWORK IMAGES AND THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

The app requests the Android INTERNET permission to load cleaning-related reference images from Pexels (images.pexels.com), using the Coil image-loading library. When the device requests an image, the hosting service may receive ordinary network data such as an IP address, request headers and associated technical logs. The app does not attach any of the cleaning-request form fields to these image requests. Cached images may remain in normal app caches subject to Android and image-library management. Images shown are category illustrations, not verified photographs of company personnel or completed company work.

6. CONTACT US AND EMAIL

The Contact Us screen displays admin@ramalhoscleaning.store. If the user chooses “Compose an email,” the app opens a separate email application through an Android email intent. The selected email provider and any messaging services then handle the message according to their own privacy policies. The user controls whether to send a message and what information it contains. The app does not automatically email saved booking or cleaning-request details. “Copy email address” uses the device's clipboard.

7. PERMISSIONS AND TECHNOLOGIES NOT USED

• Android INTERNET permission: used only for loading network images in the current code.
• Precise or background location: not requested; service addresses are typed manually.
• Camera, microphone, contacts and photo/media library: not requested.
• Authentication and user accounts: not implemented.
• Firebase, analytics/tracking SDKs and advertising SDKs: not implemented.
• Payment processor: not implemented; the app does not collect credit card numbers, CVVs or banking credentials.

8. RETENTION AND DELETION

Completed requests and favourites remain stored on the device until the user removes them or clears application storage. Drafts remain until replaced, cleared after completion, or deleted with app data. Users can delete individual completed requests from the request-detail screen and select “Delete all saved app data” in the in-app Privacy Policy to erase request records, drafts and favourites. Uninstalling the app or clearing its storage through Android settings also removes the stored application data. Copies of emails independently sent from an external email application are controlled by the user and that email provider.

9. DATA SHARING

The app does not share or sell user-entered request details for marketing or advertising. Pexels image requests are a separate network operation described in Section 5. Any email initiated by the user is handled by the external email provider under its own terms, as described in Section 6.

10. CHILDREN

This app is intended as a general cleaning-service planning utility, not a service specifically directed to children. Children should not submit personal contact information through the forms without an adult's involvement.

11. SECURITY

The app uses app-private Android storage and excludes its request preferences from the standard Android backup rules. No security measure guarantees absolute protection, and the security of the user's device also matters. This version has no account login or separate cloud server that could be used to retrieve deleted local requests.

12. CHANGES TO THE POLICY

This policy should be updated if the application adds server-side booking, new permissions, analytics, advertising, accounts, payment processing, or other changes to data processing. A revised policy will show an updated effective date.
